Good news is my CT scan came back normal and my doctor believes the medication is working. I am optimistic about my future. Bad news is they want to observe my brain for 24 hours just to make sure. I wish the treatment they gave didnt nauseate me. Being up all night sick is no fun. I am so lucky to have health insurance. I know some of my colleagues are unable to pay or lack access to quality insurance. I am lucky to have a job that gives access to insurance with a low co pay. I dont know where I would be without it. My recent experience reaffirms my belief that health care should be considered a right. If I had to pay out of pocket theres no way I could afford it.
