Good news on my mom. The doctor finally restored blood flow to the entire leg and foot. She will have to have more stents added in 3 to 4 weeks but the doctor is confident he can keep the flow going. Her other leg has a block so he will also balloon or stent it. They were worried that her wound was so bad that it had infected the bone but the infectious disease specialist reassured her today that that was not the case. So, she was released with 10 more days of antibiotics and the doc is confident that now with her blood flow she will be able to heal. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. She has a long road ahead of her with this but at least there is good news. ♥
