Gosh.... first of all, we were told that beating our children was wrong and would cause grave psychological problems. Secondly, we were told that instead of spanking (flogging) our children, we ought to practice time-out. Now, these so called experts are saying that time-out will cause grave psychological problems in the children. So, THIRDLY, they insist upon using positive reinforcement in disciplining our children. One cant help but wonder how many grave psychological problems this positive reinforcement will cause in the future..... Havent we learnt anything in 15000yrs of human civilisation?
