Got back late last night from the idyllic Eugene ONeill Theater Center in Waterford Ct. I was in a trance from fatigue, excitement and joy. Our Sondheim Alumni Cabaret Presentation was overwhelmingly satisfying to perform (boo boos in all)....who cares ,half the audience can throw you the words (of which there are thousands). Chip Zien and Annie Morrison are two of the funniest, sharpest and charming people to share a stage with. Adlib.....us? I must say Mark Hartman and John McDaniel reined us in just enough so we wouldnt just go berserk, and gave us some swell arrangements as a trio. I think we could do this again and even KNOW those arrangements. Thank you...as I said, very satisfying.
