Gracie - Eleventh Hour Rescue alumni and her dad, Charlie, helped us kickoff EHRs first adoption event at Pet Supplies Plus in Rockaway. Gracie was once considered a fear aggressive dog who rarely made it to an adoption event because fast moving people and lots of noise scared her. It is amazing to see her pull her dad through the parking lot to get to her favorite volunteer, Me ;-), and then into the store to see other volunteers that helped her heal and trust and find her forever home as she hugs Kristen Olsson Peters.
