Grandfather Michael Wilkinson was struck by a bus while walking across a road in Dudley town centre. He was hit by the single-decker as he crossed King Street to meet his son Stuart after parking his car in Flood Street on March 24 at 1.15pm. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, but he died the following day. He leaves behind widow Ann and children Stuart and Tracy. Today they spoke of his final moments and paid tribute to the ‘kind and hardworking family man’.
