Greatest construction story Ive ever experienced as general contractor! True story!!! Im chasing this guy to get a siding price on my own house in Newport. I call him tonight, me, Paul you go by my house today?. Paul(most blue collar accent youve ever heard), Aww shit Greg, its been a long day. I started a job at a 3 million $ house in Tiverton RI on the water and the only way I found it was there was no house numbers so thankfully UPS had left 2 huge boxes in the driveway (they were go karts). So we set up and started ripping the roof and shingles off the house. After awhile my guys said wheres the fin dumpster! I call and the dumpster company said,we delivered it yesterday, the homeowner told us where to put it, YOURE AT THE WRONG HOUSE!!!! Paul, I hang up the phone and scream stop to my guys and then the woman who owns the house pulls in flipping out! Thankfully she laughed, understood the ridiculous irony with no house # and UPS boxes. We repaired what we did and I didnt have a heart attack! Greg, paul, cant wait to you reside my neighbors house. Can you imagine Keith Jensen, Lisa Darling, Chester Link, Heather Pires Texeira ?
