Greetings from Natchez ! Had a wonderful cultural-historical day - In Degas House looking into the lives of Edgar Devas and his maternal Creole family, Mussons, and the sights of many of his family portraits completed during his sojourn in New Orleans. On our way to Natchez we visited Laura : A Creole Plantation. Laura Locoul (1861-1963) a Creole woman and plantation mistress from Louisiana . The fascinating stories of Five generation of Lauras family : from French colonists and wealthy sugar planters and slaveowners to Civil War Confederates.
