HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE AS YOU ALL KNOW WE HAVE SOME AMAZING TRIBUTE BANDS AND THIS WEEK I HAD THE PLEASURE OF INTERVIEWING THE BAND LOVEDRIVE SO HERES THE BANDS BIO AND MEMBERS AND THE INTERVIEW THANKS SO MUCH TO JEFF AND THE BAND FOR THIS ROCKIN INTERVIEW YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME: LOVEDRIVE’s Bio: The members of LOVEDRIVE are focused solely on the music and the presentation, delivering everything that is great about the mighty Scorpions. We are comprised of veteran musicians from Southern California and the only Scorpions tribute band with a powerful female vocalist. Band Members: Shannon Tobin (Klaus) - Lead Vocals Mark Rosales (Matthias) - Lead Guitar Justin Tobin (Rudolf) - Rhythm Guitar Mike Miller (Francis/Pawel) - Bass Guitar Jeff Ciavardini (Herman/James) - Drums & Backing Vocals MATTHIAS JABS/ MJ GUITAR/SCORPIONS FANS PAGE: (1)what is it about the scorpions that made you want to form a tribute band? LOVEDRIVE: 1. Their unique sound, riffs and melodies, they have a sound that no other band can duplicate. Rudolf Schenker, always looks like he is having a great time, full of energy. MATTHIAS JABS/ MJ GUITARS/SCORPIONS FANS PAGE: (3) out of all the songs you guys do what wone would you say was the hardest to learn? LOVEDRIVE: 3. “Hit Between the Eyes” and “Dont Believe Her” because there is so much going on in those songs it was difficult to dissect the guitar fills at times. MATTHIAS JABS/MJ GUITARS/SCORPIONS FANS PAGE: 4) as a tribute band what advice would you give all the fans who are thinking about starting or already in a band? LOVEDRIVE: 4. Be committed, practice! practice! try to get bandmates you can gel with. AND HAVE FUN! MATTHIAS JABS/MJ GUITARS/SCORPIONS FANS PAGE: 5) whats your favorite song that just puts you in that rock and roll mood everytine you start to play? LOVEDRIVE: 5. It’s a toss up between “Blackout” and “Another Piece of Meat”. Both songs start with full energy and end with full energy and always get the crowds going. We strive to be one of the top notch Scorpions tribute bands, we would also love to play with any one of the members from past or present. Our singer Shannon sang “Rock You Like a Hurricane” onstage with James Kottak’s “Kottak Attack” band a couple years ago. We always have the saying…”Keep your eye on the prize”. Staying dedicated to reproducing the songs as closely as possible for a real live “Scorpions” experience.
