HB 1603, currently in the House Professional Licensure Committee, is receiving very strong opposition. We would like to see this bill approved and moved to the full House for a vote in a couple of weeks, but we need vocal support from PSA members. It is important that you call or visit your state representative and let him or her know that you support this bill. It will place into the Medical Practice Act the existing state Health Department regulations requiring physician supervision of the administration of anesthesia.
