HELP MEND OUR HEARTS: Momma Rita (1-year-old lab mix) and Rodeo (11-month-old Australian Shepherd mix) are in need of your help! Both dogs are currently suffering from heartworms and require immediate treatment. Momma Rita, along with her four 7-week-old pups, were transported to our facility from a partnering rescue, which did not have space for the growing family. The rescue group has generously offered to make a donation toward Momma Ritas treatment, however, we are still hoping to raise at least $500 more in order to cover the remaining cost of treatment and foster care. In addition, we have our big baby, Rodeo. This lively fellow is just under a year old; however, due to neglect, he too has acquired heartworms. We are crossing our paws and hoping to raise at least $500 for his treatment and foster care as well. Being a 501(c)3 non-profit, which relies 100% on donations, it is crucial that we raise funds to help cover our costs. Every dollar impacts the life of a homeless animal and helps keep our doors open.
