HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD We still have people who preach law and ten commandments, who always draw people attention to what they must do and finally get Christians to be self occupied instead of being Jesus occupied. The problem is that this people always think that the person who has made Jesus his Lord perhaps did that to get license to go and live in sin. Which implies that prior to their conversion they never had that license. They then use much effort in telling people what they must do to become more holy. This is an erroneous thinking. WAS it NOT FOR THE FACT THAT ONE HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT HE IS A SINNER AND HE NEEDS A SAVIOR TO SAVE HIM OUT OF SIN (not into sin) that he confessed Jesus as Lord and savior? So who then wants to get saved and go live in sin like the devil? The bible says anyone who has this hope of salvation purifies himself even as He is pure( 1John 3:3). How much holiness and righteousness has LAW PREACHING PULPITS produced in the congregation? Nothing but a weak congregation, defeated congregation, a congregation that depend only on the anointing of the church leadership, condemned congregation, a congregation with a high sense of unworthiness, unrighteousness and unholiness. This congregation has no good news to tell others because Jesus has never become real to them, hence they cannot evangelize. This syndrome is the fruit of a LAW PREACHING PULPIT CHECK out these scriptures to confirm what i am saying..1 Cor 15:56, 2Cor 3:6-9, Rom 7:4,7-8, Rom 7:9-13, Rom 3:19, If in the mist of all these scriptures people still preach other things, then it only means they have no understanding of the purpose of the law and probably misinterpret scriptures. GOD WANTS US TO WALK IN THE HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS WHEREIN HE HAS CALLED US, but the answer is NEVER IN THE LAW AND COMMANDMENTS. THE ANSWER IS IN THE GRACE AND FINISHED WORK OF JESUS. IT IS RECEIVING THE FREE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN JESUS. IT IS SEEING YOURSELF AS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST, INDEPENDENT OF YOUR PERFORMANCE. It is about abt seeing Christ and not yourself.
