Jeremiah 33:3 My mother grew up on a farm in Marion County, Arkansas. My grandfather was a Godly man and gave of his substance to the church and the needy. My mother was grown and had a family of her own before she heard about the Biblical plan of tithing. The only Bible translation those days was the King James. With her limited formal schooling it was difficult to understand. She knew if God put it in his word it was what she should do. She began to pray God would help her understand. He will always answer the sincere prayer of his children. The answer came in a very unusual way; via the KERR Home Canning Company. Back then people canned their own vegetables. Ladies took great pride in showing off their rows of canned fruits and vegetables. Mother purchased a box of new jars packed by the Kerr Company. When she opened it laying on top of the jars was a sheet of paper with, complete easy to read, instruction on what the Bible says about tithing. Many months before, God had put it in the heart of someone to add that paper to that particular box. Coincidence? No way! Are you needing an answer?
