HOT TOPIC @ Swift this week - With the change in seasons and crazy season upon us its so easy to feel like we are loosing our minds, be a little grumpier, be a little sadder, lose our cool more than normal at loved ones especially our kids. All these feelings more common amongst all of us than we are actually aware. Here are 5 things you might like to consider to regain yourself at this time of year that are free to do.... 1) give your diet a tune up, cut down the sugar and caffeine (dont cut it out at this time of year as detoxing is not the plan leave that to january) increase your water and veggie intake. 2) take your shoes off and walk or lie on the grass even if its only for 5 or 10 mins a day its called earthing or grounding and it has an amazing grounding effect 3) get one hug each day from a loved one that is for 20 seconds or longer and really mean it (get heaps more if you can) yes hugging your pets count. 4) slow down the exercise. Dont stop just take things back a pace or two out bodies are tired at this time of year so they dont need to be beaten up at a hard core training session. 5) lie on the ground and get one of your kids to either brush your hair or draw shapes on you back - this is magic.
