HOW? Indeed good intentions are just that .....intentions. They amount to nothing if they are not acted upon. And thus we put up this plan before you in this first issue of this web-magazine. The platform is now open for discussion.You choose the stories and you write them. What Gamba will do is to initiate dialogue on a variety of issues affecting the nation. Where you will come in is in helping come up with solutions to this issues through the various discussion forums. Crowd-sourcing solutions indeed! Gamba will on all issues discussed lay heavy emphasis on three aspects of the matters that we believe hold the keys to progress, and these are ;- LAW: ECONOMY: SCIENCE: LAW: In this we will follow the Constitutional Implementation process and legislation in the counties and national assemblies. We will aid the public to scrutinize, discuss and suggest bills from and to both levels of government. We will ask what laws do we need to make, amend or abolish to progress? ECONOMY: Here we will trail the Vision 2030 Blueprint and implementation and note all arising business opportunities, challenges and concerns in the counties and the nation. We will look at the possibilities in both the private and public sector and suggest solutions to make the reality meet the possibility. SCIENCE: This will involve finding all possible solutions to issues affecting the nation from the technology around us as well as putting forth requests for inventions that will help do the same. You will thus be informed of existing science and technological advancements, solutions and the need for more. The articles, discussions and comments will and should all be respectful and objective. They must be non-partisan and void of any political sentiments, just issues and solutions. After discussing and coming up with solutions we as we will endeavor to propose this suggestions to those in the respective positions of authority in the government for consideration and hopefully implementation.We will follow the whole process and report the progress back to all the readers of the magazine. The main issue will focus on a specific issue and the other segments of the Magazine will explore the challenges, opportunities and solutions that can come out of it. You can view and explore the other segments of the magazine in the website. For example; in the next issue, the main story could focus on Mining since we have oil, and gas and coal and iron or Wildlife because of the prevalent poaching that is going on. The main story will therefore set the stage for the Legal, Economical and scientific discussion on the matter. The other segments/ columns of the magazine will scrutinize further the issue at hand each in its own special way. Its a challenge......but we relish the challenge. Do let us know what you think.
