HOW TO DRESS FOR A JOB OR FORMAL INTERVIEW? Tips by Page Admin from salearnerships Preparing for a job interview does not require that you prepare yourself psychologically or practicing how to answer questions but it also involves knowing which clothes to wear for the interview. I have some suggestions on how you can do that. 1. First research about the dress code for that company. If the dress code for the company is formal, you might as well go for a formal attire.If the dress code is casual, you might as well go for casual. most organisations such as Non-Profit organisations usually do not prefer formal dress code. 2. Chose close that wits you well. Do not wear clothes that makes you look like you are floating on the, rather wear clothes that fit well on your body. At the same time, do not wear clothes that tights you too much. 3. Avoid clothes with annoying messages. Please be cautious of the funny messages on your clothes that will take the attention of the interviewer away from the interview. Imagine wearing a T-shirt with message I drink for fun 4. For ladies, wear something thats not too revealing. What needs not to be revealed in an interview room shall not be revealed. You can be nicely dressed even with less on no showing cleavage at all. Also avoid wearing something that shows linings of your inner wears. Remember, the interviewer also is a human being. 5. Wear something that you feel confident and comfortable. When nervousness strikes you, you might never know what will happen next. If you are not a high heel person, make sure that you know how to use it otherwise just use shoes with moderate heel. also make sure that the clothes you wear you are confident that they fit you well and you feel confident wearing them.
