Good to bath, catch, clip, load, travel, handle, farrier. Good conformation with a lovely head. Nice stamp, would do well in the ring. Smooth paces and transitions. Big extension when asked. Works down on the bit nicely, schooling coming on well however much prefers jumping/hacking. Will go around schooling - in arena or field on a loose rein. Rides nicely from the seat and listens to the voice. Loves to be told he is a good boy and will even have a little snorting chat with you! Enjoys jumping proving to be scopey, currently popping 1.10m at home. Economical jumper. Snaffle mouthed although little ones take him out and about on 2 ring gag (more to help their confidence). Rides and leads from another horse or you can lead from him - so good you can lead him and another (2 horses) from another horse. Is a typical welsh and can try his luck at times but nothing nasty or dangerous just needs to be told no and then he goes oh bugger ok.. Hacks in company in front or behind (but doesnt like being left behind). Hacks alone although can lack in confidence so needs a rider he trusts (will only be looky otherwise). Hacks over flyovers. Good in the heaviest of traffic. Has been used in a riding school, has hunted, done beach rides, SJ, Mounted games & SJ & XC schooled. Can be ridden by nervous novice 10yos jumping in a large open field. Is good with novices on and off LR however would be suited to a home with more confident/competent rider to carry out daily exercise as enjoys his work. Has been known to lack in self confidence in previous homes when going to new places - however has been to a local show with us and was very well behaved, took two nervous jockey round the ring in multiple classes and SJ courses. Has also taken 10yo round SJ & XC schooling multiple times with us. Ideal fun all round pony now or could be produced into the showing world.
