Had a close call with our Willie yesterday..... My husband, me and the girls went to the refuse to look for deer tracks. The girls were one on each side looking out the window. We had been driving along for about 30 minutes when all a sudden Willies head went up and she JUMPED OUT THE WINDOW!!! I screamed her name and grabbed for her but she was flying thought the air; her little legs just a running. She hit the ground and rolled a couple of times down a small ditch by the time I got out of the truck and got to her. We were only coasting along, so it just took my husband a sec to get the truck stopped. When I got to her she was covered in dusty dirt and looking up at me as if to say wow I really cant fly....you should have told me. She was fine just a little shaken. We have a step-side truck so her fall was about 4 foot. We babied her and watch her closely.... she is fine. Running and jumping like it never happened...but let me tell you, she didnt get to look out the window for the rest of the trip and I have beat myself up ever since for not being more aware. I thank God for taking care of her and softening her fall. I know it could have been really bad. #soscared #baddoggymom #sothankful
