Had a great conversation today with a Jiu Jitsu Parent. He said kids should have to show proof of age such as a passport like they do at Pan Kids. This would be to compete at any tournament. I personally agree because on more then one occasion my kid was stuck in a division and we found out after that experienced kids were ten years old in the 6-8 year old division. Anything to take home a medal I guess. What are your thoughts on kids proving age and what should be done if a parent/club is caught putting their kid in a lower age or belt division?
