Had a notion this morning. As much as I complain about not being in New Orleans, maybe if I go about my day in the same fashion here it might take the edge off. So Im having a bloody mary at Lamascos to start the day and getting out of the house. Going to have some lunch at the Girst and hit some shops I like. Basically not spending the day lounging in front of the tv and back patting myself for having the gumption to put forth the effort to simply emptying the dishwasher and leaving it at that. See the sun a bit. Talk to people I dont have to. Really just being involved in something past my reclusiveness for the disdain of my current city. I really do have a fondness of the west side though.
