Had a quick trip to Henryetta today to meet with my State President Mike Rogers and Central Ok Labor Federation President Tim OConnor. Pleasant trip and excellent lunch at El Charros in Henryetta and the trip back was uneventful. Nice day for a ride with the fall foliage beginning to look spectacular going to and from. The weather was beautiful and there was a nice pleasing autumnal nip in the air. Breathing a little small mountain air in eastern Oklahoma always makes for a good time especially during the early autumnal. Mother Natures Natural Paint Brush The morning was pleasant and pleasing, As we zipped along down the interstate, When we got to Henryetta the Pig Out Palace, Was closed shutters and boards sealed its fate. So we drove clear through Henryetta, A quiet and warmly welcoming city, To the El Charro authentic Mexican, Henryetta was certainly mighty pretty. We had an excellent Mexican dinner, Got our business done and jawboned, Talking funny stories and politics, Then headed out back towards home. The fall foliage along the interstate, Turning to lovely hues of gold and brown, Of gorgeously natural autumnal colors, Mother Natures paint brush does astound. Bob Bearden
