Had a run this morning and doing my best not to bother our struggling health system. Running along the Torrens in the beautiful twilight, admiring the new RAH coming along well, across the new pedestrian bridge to the awesome structure that is the revamped Adelaide oval. And then I got this sick guttural feeling not unlike the sensation I got when walking into my first home. My over whelming emotions were 1. Can I afford this? 2. Have I overcapitalised? 3. Shit now I need to pay for this. All I ask Mr Jay Weatherill is can you please now reign it in. Creating this false economy by spending public money as though it is going out of fashion is surely not the way to move this state forward. I am a proud South Australian and the river precinct will function well but please get some private money back into this economy, make it easier for small business and dont forget about the people living out of the city. And to my member Rachel Sanderson, do your best to keep the bastards honest.
