Halloween is over, but to some Im still the villain! I will embrace that title proudly! Especially, if it means protecting loved ones from a negative torch; one that we all pass, way too freely! The brain is fragile, for each of us. One phone call can uplift, or it can create unnecessary worries, false fears, tears; downward spiraling thoughts! Life can be challenging! Painful at times, and full of so many changes; but it is also VERY BEAUTIFUL!!! Filled with joyful experiences, extraordinary blessings, and grateful attitudes! Some days can feel heavy; those low points that feel like we have to search high and low just to find and see, something good... but WE CAN find it, if we want to! Too often, were missing our own highlights! Mostly because of where we are placing our focus! Imagine someone you truly care about; they are on the ground, wounded with visible blood. You would never poke at their wounds, or add pressure to an area that only time can heal. Less is always more! Just letting someone know that we care, or that theyre not alone; is more than enough! So then why do we engage in so many conversations that are filled with pain, agony, pety frustrations, or advice that is rarely received? Why do we speak, without observing who might be listening? Food for thought; next time we are the one, feeding a beast that serves no useful purpose! Being positive, does not have to summon a fiction character; Pollyanna. Nor is it the ignorant bubble, that lacks reality. With two very significant losses recently, my own emotions have been high. Moments of pain, that have felt almost razor sharp! But I still have so much to be grateful for!!! A loss will show up in many ways. But beneath that loss, we can be sure that a treasure has been buried! One that will someday be found! When it comes to a life of another; we are never in control! A reminder to LOVE more, and judge less!!!
