Hamas is the legally and democratically elected government of these people, not some unlawful terrorist organisation without support. Palestine and its people have been progressively marginalised and effectively colonised against their will by European Jews for the last 100yrs. Remember that Judaism is a religion, it is not a race or a nationality. Its a club. Anyone can join it. They are not descended from the biblical era jews described in the old testament. Jewish people today have no more right to land in the middle east than my celtic roots give me right to a farm in the south of France. 98% of all Jewish people in the world today are descended from a loose central/eastern european tribal group called the Ashkenazim. The Ashkenazis converted to Judaism approximately 1500 yrs ago during the reign of the Holy Roman Empire. They converted to judaism. They are not Semites, they are European. The only people actually descended from the biblical era jews are in fact Africans and Arabs. That is why Palestine is fighting. They have 2 choices: surrender or resist. While there is terror on both sides, yes, what the Palestinians are actually doing is resistance.... not terrorism. But when your back is against the wall and you have nowhere to go.... the only route you can take is die, or go back from where you came, even if Israelis are standing there now.
