Hand kneaded and oven baked cream cheese bread loaf I am too - TopicsExpress

Hand kneaded and oven baked cream cheese bread loaf I am too used to baking bread loaf for hubby, but since he can only take soft food now, I baked a smaller loaf - for both myself and our dearie 19m26d. Instead of using the bread maker, I decided to hand knead and bake in the oven - first time doing so! Outcome is good! The crust is soft too (better than my bread maker outcome actually :P) Ingredients: 50g cream cheese 100ml fresh milk 1 tsp grape seed oil (no particular reason I used this, just trying) 1 tsp instant yeast 1 tsp molasses sugar 180g bread flour 30g cake flour 50g wholemeal flour 1 egg (I left some to brush on top of the dough before baking) Mixed all ingredients and knead for 10 minutes. Leave it aside for 30 minutes. Knead again (add a little bread flour if sticky). Let it proof for another 1 hour. Before baking, brush a layer of egg. Under preheated oven of 200 degree celcius with fan on, bake for 20 minutes. Lower temperature to 160 degree celcius, bake for another 20 minutes. Cool down before cutting.
