Happy Halloween! Collin came down to 90% oxygen today, and was so much happier than he was last night! His Versed is still being weaned, but instead of cutting his dose in half, he is getting it less frequently, which so far does not seem to be effecting him like the lower dosage did. He is now getting the medication every 6 hours instead of 4. He is also getting his feedings as a mixture of breast milk and formula again. If his stools become real loose like they were, the doctors will know if it was the breast milk, or just withdrawal symptoms from previous medications after the tracheostomy. Both, Collin and I received gifts today as well!! One of Collins nurses, Ariel, made him a Halloween costume; he was a Chicago Bear today! Then, my life long friend Laura, sent me a wonderful card and bracelet in the mail, that I absolutely love! She told me one of her co-workers makes and sells them. He is doing well so far, but has been very busy! Its the life of the Corps, but we both love what the USMC has done for us as individuals, as a couple and now as a family of three! We love you Daddy!
