Happy New Year, Adventure Racers! After an epic first edition in 2014, the Maya Mountain Adventure Challenge will be back in February 2016! This 3-4 day expedition through the jungles of Belize promises to be even more spectacular. American Adventure Sports will be traveling to Belize in just a few weeks to continue scouting the course, and with our friends and partners at Friends for Conservation and Development - FCD Belize as guides, we are extremely excited about the potential for next years course. Racers will travel even further into the remote jungle to places rarely seen by other humans, with an opportunity to experience the breathtaking natural resources of Belize. You just might catch friends Odyssey Adventure Racing, New York Adventure Racing Association, GearJunkie/ YogaSlackers, and others as they navigate their way through the jungles of Belize! The film not only captures the race, but also the mission and inspiring work of the FCD as they face multiple challenges to protect Belizes natural resources. We enjoyed making it.
