Hard work is essential to succeed in your goals. Being blessed with a talent, skill, a certain look, or sparkling personality may get you in the door, but, once there, that gift is not enough. To succeed, one must practice, seek out the council of those who have succeeded before you, be able to accept constructive criticism, and modify yourself accordingly. Its through constant practice, study, and application that are the keys to success. Your training and attitude mean more than most people think. Some may blow off your success as luck because, when done well, it looks effortless. Those that understand will respect you for your drive and tenacity. Never stop learning.
