Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. After the heir of Slytherin gives notice that the Chamber of Secrets is open, Gilderoy Lockhart, the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, decides that the students should be taught how to duel. After a rather shoddy demonstration by Lockhart and Snape, it is decided to have two students try. Lockhart suggests that Harry and Ron duel, but Snape suggests that Malfoy take Rons place. They are only supposed to be disarming each other, but they start throwing real spells at each other. It is when Draco produces a snake that everyone finds out that Harry is a parselmouth. The heir of Slytherin has once again opened the Chamber of Secrets and unleashed the monster kept within. Harry and Ron must find the Chamber, and rescue Rons sister, who has been taken there to die. In defeating the monster and destroying the diary, Harry once again thwarts Voldemorts plan to regain his human form.
