Having honed my watermelon cubing skills by watching internet videos, I prepared a nice large bowl of ice cold, fresh, ripe watermelon cubes and took them to Mike who was studying on the sofa. He looked up at me and smiled, and do you know what he said? Have you any idea what words actually came out of his mouth? Thanks, he said, but I dont like watermelon. !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! What the...? Who is this stranger sitting on my living room sofa? How can anyone not like watermelon? Is it too late to get a refund on my marriage license? If he has been hiding this from me for the past 19 years, what other secrets has he been keeping from me? I feel like my whole world has been turned upside down. Is it true? Are there others out there in cyberspace that really and truly, deep in their heart of hearts, do not like watermelon? Have you sought professional help? Have you openly confessed to others your dislike of one of Gods most glorious fruits? Do you get together with others who share your perversion? Do you congregate in watermelon-free zones?
