Hazel Update: Hazel is truly a wonder dog. On Christmas day she stopped eating and I started another death watch. She did, however, keep drinking water, but her strength was waning to the point where she couldnt walk anymore On January 2, I got her to, reluctantly, munch down a dog cookie and a spoon full of peanut butter. The next day, to my astonishment, she got up and walked outside to relieve herself. Slowly she started eating again and her strength began to improve. Tonight she ate a full can of dog food, a ridiculous amount of dog cookies and two scoops of peanut butter. She is walking real good now and her strength is improving daily. I know she is on borrowed time, but Ill take any minute I can get with her.
