Head of Safety and Security Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Description: Position Objective: •To provide strong and effective Security and Safety Management in coordination with the Country Infrastructure and Services Division Head, providing expertise and extensive experience in the field of governmental, commercial and industrial security but not necessarily requires an experience in armed forces. Through information gathering and experience, ensure the development of institutional Security and Safety Strategy Plans, Security Manuals, Standards, controls and training are in place, monitored and regularly updated. Area of responsibility shall include Countrywide management of Security and Safety, including long term planning, day to day operations of the Corporation’s buildings and local provided housing. A further key responsibility is to develop procedures to protect the Company’s Employees, property and premises. Principal Responsibilities: •To formulate a security and safety in coordination with the Country Infrastructure and Services Division Head. This will require surveying existing Premises, analyzing needs and determining appropriate course of action, followed by accurate monitoring and timely implementation of approved strategy to enhance and maintain Security and Safety standards. •To develop and maintain an updated security information system via use of automation to enable prompt access to accurate data as may be required by Senior Management. •To develop Security and Safety Policies and procedures, including updates, followed by ensuring its implementation in accordance with the Security and Safety regulations and standards defined by SAMA. •Develop procedures and monitor the implementation relating to protection of company’s sensitive information, Premises restricted areas, Company’s and clients properties, computer security, communication security, protection of VIPs, fire protection, first aid, contingency planning, etc. •Manage and provide Senior Managements guidance in special investigations (if necessary with assistance of external specialists) concerning: - Security and Safety breaches / violations - Fraudulent delicts such as theft, fraud and extortion •Implement and manage Company activities relating to Security and Safety awareness in order to advise and ensure awareness of the responsible Business managers with regard to Security and Safety matters countrywide. •Plan, organize and implement regular training and exercise in fire protection, fire fighting and firs aid, in coordination with Regional Premises Heads for all New and existing staff. •Develop and maintain contingency plans for emergency situations to ensure that calamities can be dealt with adequately and in a timely manner. •Develop and maintain effective relations with all authorities involved as necessary in Security and Safety matters, including guidance in when and how to report security/safety related issues to authorities. •Ensure an adequate overview on employees who are on, or have access to highly company sensitive information to contribute to prevention of fraudulent delicts, while working closely with authorities. •Promote throughout the company the importance and relevance of Security and Safety in order to create awareness necessary for an optional implementation of the Security and Safety Policy and Procedures. •Plan, Co-ordinate and/or perform periodic controls and audits (if necessary with the assistance of the internal and external specialist) on Security and Safety to determine compliance to policies of SAMA Security and Safety regulations Countrywide. •Overviews all elements related to Documents Security ( at least for highly sensitive documents) and ensure proper procedures are in place and practiced related to their identification, handling, movement etc. Desired Profile: •Strong management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. •Able to formulate, develop, implement, and administer policies and procedures related to safety policy. •Must demonstrate effective leadership skills and experience in a multi-discipline •Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. •Ability to effectively communicate •Ability to manage multiple priorities. •Ability to diffuse and manage volatile and stressful situations.
