Hebrews 12: 27-29 (God removes) shakable, created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Thus, since we receive a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, so that we may serve God acceptably with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire. What does it mean that God is removing shakable things from our lives? It means that the dross is being removed so that it is no longer influencing us, can’t be remembered, or held against us. Like Lot’s wife, we should not look back at our burning dross, or hold it against ourselves. Nor should we hold other people’s dross against them. Rather, holding onto God’s Unshakable Kingdom, filled with His Grace and Forgiveness, we should reach out to others in Love, filled with reverence and awe for the One we serve, trusting Him to consume everything that stands in His Way. My friends, whatever is driving you crazy in yourself or somebody else is just dross. Look for the wheat, and let God take care of the rest. That’s part of His Job description! He will do it!
