Heh. This may not be a big deal to most of you but it is a huge deal to me! While Tony and our oldest two girls were still gone. My Livi-bug and I heard the phone ring and saw that it was my Father-in-Law, so I decided on a whim to let Livi answer it then switched my aids to telecoli so I can hear him directly without background noises and I actually had our 1st phone convo with him OVER THE PHONE! And get this: I UNDERSTOOD HIM, every word! I wonder if hes proud? (I know Tony would think so!) Everyone tells me that they can see the special bond & love that we have for each other. Hes not just my FIL. To me, hes my Dad as well. I call him Dad. I dont usually say Thom or Father-in-Law unless Im introducing him to someone. Hes Dad or Dzia Dzia (Polish for Grandpa). And I am one proud Daughter-in-Law when I say this: I love my FIL, my Dad. Most of yall dont know this except close family members but my FIL, along with MIL and of courses my husband, all played a huge role in helping me become who I am today as I am no where close to being this super shy, very quiet, and very sensitive person that I was for 19 yrs. I am now both shy when around new people until I get to know them, yet outgoing, very talk-active, and instead of being very sensitive, I remain just a bit sensitive instead so that I dont let little things get to me as easily as they did when I was 19, and thanks to them, they helped me become independent by helping me get my drivers license cause I had no one available to teach me until then. I know deep in my heart that God wanted Tony & I together. We were meant for each other. I thank God everyday that I get to wake up next to my amazing husband as Brooke Rene Publiski, along with our 3 amazing daughters and our baby boy on the way. I am very blessed. God is Good!
