Hello Darnell Family. Its been awhile since anyone has posted any family news or notifications. This page was created so that we as a family can keep up with each other and know whats going on with each other and not have to worry about hearing it through the grapevine. When is the next Darnell family meeting and where will it be held? I would like to have one at my house after the first of the year and turn it into a Darnell Family BBQ Cook off. The Darnell men (the ones who think they can BBQ) will be judged on cooking a brisket, chicken, and sausage. They would be judged on taste, texture, and presentation. Each cook will put $25 into the prize pot. The Darnell women will be in charge of the side dishes. Each side dish will contribute $10 into the prize pot. The winner of the cook off will win half of the total prize pot. The other half of the prize pot will go to the Darnell Family reunion fund/account? What do you all think about that? Is that a good idea for a family fund raiser?
