Hello Everybody! Wifey Amanda here. Brads surgery went very well. He was in at about 10am yesterday and out by about 5pm. He spent last night in the ICU but is already out and in a regular room. He is not looking for visitors at this time as we are trying to get his nausea and pain under control. If he becomes ready I will post. That is the good news. The not so good news is that the were only able to remove half of the tumor. The tumor was so large (the size of a softball turns out) and went so deep, they could not get all of it and maintain his basic functions so the surgeon opted to stop the extraction to prevent any permanent damage. The tumor was confirmed as cancerous but it is a low grade, slow growing cancer as we originally thought. So. What does this mean? This means we will be doing some treatments to shrink what is left and hopefully kill the remaining cancer cells. The treatments will not be aggressive and he will probably be able to work around them. Not sure when the triumphant return will be but I will try to keep the site updated. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Guess what? Brad is STILL UNDEFEATED!!!
