Hello Everyone, I thought that I owed you all an update on Darlene’s Status since my last report is now several day’s old! Last Saturday on 08.23.2014, Dar was released from Louisville Jewish Hospital to the Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital which is located in New Albany, Indiana and is just about two miles from the house. From a recovery standpoint, Darlene is doing quite well. She does undergo extensive Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy every day! Some days she will have 6 sessions of 30 to 45 minutes each! I feel the “deficits” from the strokes are receding. As I watch her every movement very closely. I have not taken the opportunity to ask the staff on their prognosis. Nor for a release date. I am not in a hurry by any means, I want her to get the full benefit of what they have to offer Darlene in the way of therapy!
