Hello Group. Lately there have some been issues of people using other photographers photos without permission. Now We know this is mainly not an issue in our group, but since it has happened elsewhere, I figured we can address this issue. When you come across an image that you like want to share, please ask permission to share. If not, at least link back or provide credit to the photographer. We as photographers all invested lots of time and money into our hobby. You may think, oh, it only took this person 1/60th of a second to capture this image, its not a big deal. That cant be further from the truth. For that 1/60th second exposure, I had to ride the Haunted Mansion 6 times this trip to get the shot I wanted. I had to invest in a full frame camera and a fast prime lens that cost thousands of dollars. I had to make hundreds of attempts over the past few trips to capture this one shot. I had to spend the time to learn and understand how to properly expose my shots. To get that shot, I had to put my family though the Haunted Mansion enough times that they sing Grim Grinning Ghosts in their sleep So while you may think that its only one picture... think about how much we have invested to be able to capture that one shot you like. When in doubt, please ask any of the admins John, Tara, Aunesty, or Cliff.
