Hello Scotland... So after the vote was counted and the decision - TopicsExpress

Hello Scotland... So after the vote was counted and the decision made i was initially gutted and disappointed in my nation, i couldnt quite understand why the majority made this choice, i couldnt understand the lack of testicular fortitude........BUT... After listening to yes voters complain, whinge and overnight turn into massive negative boils on the backside of Scotland i decided to use my mind and to try and see this from a new perspective, for me this wasnt too hard as i already understood that an independent Scotland in the European union, a Scotland that used the pound and was dominated by central banks could and never would be an independent nation. Remember independence doesnt come from a flag, or a notion of nationalism, nor is it achieved through wearing a kilt or a political process, Independence can only be achieved as a planet of human beings, Individual independence leads to true worldwide freedoms. That is the only real independence that exist, anything less is nothing but a moment of fantasy and not acceptable anymore. The Yes vote for many people was seen as the vote for change, a vote of Hope, a leap of faith if you like, but what if the No vote is an even bigger vote for change, an even bigger vote of hope, and the ultimate leap of faith? Think about it!... imagine for a moment that Scotland right now was an independent nation and the Uk and America invaded Iraq, we as a nation would not be involved, we would send no troops, we would kill no civilians, in our own smugness we would sit back in our apathy and change nothing..... But at least we would not be part of a war, at least an independent Scotland could be proud of its humanity, i hear many cry!! yes and i agree in a small way...but again you can still be Scottish, be part of the UK and stand up for what you believe in, shout from the top of your lungs your thoughts, become part of the solution, not die happily in your beds shrouded with a cloak of apathy...this is not Scottish, this is not our way, is it? If the people who inhabit these islands stood together to fight for what is right for EVERYONE, we would be a force of reckoning, as we where in the first and second world war, fighting shoulder to shoulder with brothers and sisters, fighting oppression and injustice, fighting for freedom, not just one nation fighting on its own but a group of nations of similar minds and spirit, fighting together for what is right...The hope and the leap of faith lies in us, all of us, every human being on this planet, and we can continue with this process of true independence by putting our hopes and our faith in one another, in the peoples of Britain, we CAN make this a united movement of change together....instead of 5 million Scots battling alone, we would be joined by countless millions of our countrymen and women, we all together could change it all.....but only together. Both yes and no voters fundamentally want the same thing, dont for a second be fooled into thinking that no voters dont want to change Westminster, or make Scotland all it can be, dont be fooled into thinking that the no vote was a vote against democracy or a better deal for Scotland....it wasnt... For me the no vote has become a vote for even bigger change, lets stop thinking so small Scotland!, this fight for freedom is so much bigger than borders or cultures, nations or languages, this is a fight that cannot be won alone and divided, Our enemies are our puppet governments ran by criminal networks of bankers and businessmen, these men are the cancer that lie at the heart of all our human suffering. Its time to re-unite this land of Scotland, its time for the Scots as one nation to step forward and be heard, its time for us to join our neighbours, our kith and kin of England, Wales and Ireland to fight against our common enemy of injustice and corruption. Can you imagine the change that could be brought down on this planet led by a United kingdom? can you imagine the Scots, The English, The Welsh and The Irish joined hand in hand, joined in spirit and in mind to fight for freedom and independence for all the world, for every human being that exists, Isnt that a fight worth joining? Isnt that a battle you would die for? My thoughts on this are too many to write here but i have opened my mind to a bigger truth, i hope others will do the same. The final irony i offer to my yes voting friends is this!!! I now come full circle and see a new meaning to the slogan better together Simply we are better together, better as a nation, better as a United kingdom, and most importantly better together as a Species. Divide and be Conquered, or Unite and Thrive.
