Hello! Thank you for approving my join request. I really appreciate it. I have 10 bettas :) I love them all very much and have received them anywhere from aquabid, from a breeder in Florida, Wal-Mart, petsmart, and petco. I also run a page on instagram (instagram/ouijabettas) dedicated to bettas. I know (not personally) some of the kids youre talking about like the stop betta abuse page and some of the more loud and obnoxious advocates to keep bettas out of bowls. Personally I agree with the group that the main argument is in fact the bioload and that most people are just lazy and dont take care of thier fish in the first place. So weekly water changes is replaced with a filter. All mine are in bowls. With the exception of one running tank and filter. And the only reason its filtered is because its on my tall dresser in the bedroom and Im short lol. I will say one thing in defense of these kids, and its at least theyre passionate about something besides T.V. and video games. Theyll grow up and relax someday.
