Hello and Welcome! My name is Carolina Gonzalez. I am from Colombia; however, I have previously lived in Norway which as a result, has allotted me many contacts throughout Europe. In addition, I graduated as a Sociologist at a University in Medellin Colombia. My time in Europe coupled with my degree has led to a career that has provided me with the perfect background experience to confidently begin BuscandoRaices. I am aware that my job is a complex one that involves human beings, their feelings, and their family/social/psychological interrelations. For this reason, I know I am the right kind of women for this career because I am capable of relating with people and able to create a balance between both parties involved in the case (adoptees & biological families). I speak Norwegian, English and Spanish. I have worked in the education field for more than twenty years with young students in the Colombian school system. Working in the Education System has helped me to contribute to helping many Colombians secure a better future for their lives I have been working with BuscandoRaices for 7 years and I have encountered many different cases, some which have been easy and some which have been more complex. Regardless of the case, the level of satisfaction I get from helping individuals make such an important connection is what keeps me in this field of work. I offer professional and complete service for anybody who is interested in searching for their roots and I am delighted to be welcomed as a part of their journey.
