Hello fellow Townies, Just wanted to pass this message along. It was written by Jack Terry about the Peter Aumais baseball field in Andover. Peter was a big influence in my life and many others classmates. Please consider joining fellow townies for a great cause. Thanks, Lyn Brennan- Allaby Dear Friends & Family, For those that might not have heard, there is a fund raising effort spearheaded by Glenn Verrette and Jim Arnold, to raise the money that is needed to up-grade the Peter Aumais Memorial Baseball Park, up at Andover High. Glenn and Jim have done a great job but are in need for more donations to help complete the project. I and Glenn Ippolito have decided to do our part to help raise some money for the project. On November 29th of this year, the Saturday night after Thanksgiving we are putting on a fund raiser at the Claddagh Club in Lawrence. The Claddagh has an upstairs function room that can accommodate up to 300 people. We will be asking for a small donation for tickets; there will be a cash bar and a DJ to dance the night away. Yes, some of us can still dance at our age even if its not too pretty. We anticipate a complete sell out. It will be a great chance to catch up with old friends that maybe you havent seen in years. And all proceeds will go to the up-grade to our Dear friends memorial field. So mark the date. We are giving all of you plenty of notice and will not tolerate no shows. We will be emailing invitations in the very near future with all the information you will need to secure tickets. Thanks and have a great weekend. JT & GI
