Hello folks.just thought Id get on and tell a little story. Seems I got this flyer in the mail about 5 weeks ago. This flyer was from Dish. The flyer promised a free Apple Ipad to qualifying people. So, I called them, after all Its Dish... Well after a short time the salesman comes on and tells me that I did qualify for the FREE iPad. All I have to do is sign up for the 200+ package or better. No problem, I signed up for one step higher. After completing my order, I ask the guy, how do I get my iPad now? He said it will take about 6 weeks. So I agree. Today I call Dish to find out the status of my FREE iPad. I was quickly told that I had opted NOT to receive the iPad..... After talking to several employees and supervisors, I was told I was out of luck, and that I signed a 2 year contract.to break this contract would coat me $700.00. I ask you, why would I apt NOT to recieve a FREE iPad??? The supervisor I talked to was Sally Ring at 1-888-826-8137 ext 72298. It is my opinion that this is a scam by Dish network, and that it shows that they dont care about their word. I know I signed the contract, but dont your word count for anything anymore?? If you agree with me, like this and let Ma. Ring and Dish know.
