Henrys Monday morning update 12-22-14: Henry had a restless night. The ENT doctor came in last night around 9:30pm. I discussed with him my aggravationv that it seemed all Henrys treatment plans keep going on hold over the weekends. And I was afraid being Christmas week we were going to be idle as well. That the nurses want to do all they can but can only do so much without doctors orders. And that it is like pulling teeth to get the ICU doctors to sit down and discuss plans everyday. They tell us we are going to get more aggressive then we need to take it slow. Believe me we know better than anyone how Henry hates change. But we have also noticed how Henry backs up every time we sit idle. He was even a little aggravated that Henry had gone up on his settings and that the ICU doctor had not bronched him all weekend. So he did the bronch and got a lot of junk out of Henrys lungs. His machine settings are all still the same but his oxygen sat is higher. They have started coming back down on one of the sedation medicines hoping Henry will start breathing over the ventilator which he is doing a little. Sorry for the morning rant. We keep praying for Henrys lungs to get stronger and I know yall all do as well. But just seems like we need everyone on the same team here to help answer all the prayers going out for Henry.
