| Her Story | She took birth one morn,, In her mothers lap she laid, Burnt at the next dawn, In her deathbed she laid. With time she became young, Teen bells had rung, But then came the day, Or as they say, With no one in sight, She was raped one night. It was hard for her to bear, Rest of her life went in fear. She insisted one day to marry her love, To be someones dove, But then she was killed for honor, And soon, the news was declared a rumor. And then she was married off, For dowry was assailed oft, Finally she was beaten to demise, By those considered sassy and wise. Lived happily with her loved one, But soon found that he was with someone, Time planned her death again, Poisoned herself in deep pain. Then her daughter took birth one morn, But soon the happiness turned into mourn, They killed her, Her child had gone, Her life had torn, Apart in the flames of her lovely girl, Who was her only pearl. Then she became old, The time when she was sold, Sold to live on her own, To cry, die, and moan. This was her life, Someones daughter, Someones mother, And someones wife. The story ends itself here, Unfinished, untold, with no one to share. No one to share.
