Here comes my first controversial status: randy and I took the dogs on a hike and on the way home stopped at job lot to return something. We pulled under the trees off the paved parking lot in 100% shade. Sunroof is wide opened. Windows opened. Dogs are soaking wet in cool water from the pond. And I stayed in the car with it running with the ac on full blast. 72° in the sun. Not one out of the 4 dogs were panting. In the 5 minutes randy was in the store I was approached by 2 people. One actually had the nerve to tell me I was lucky I was in the car because they would smash my window. While I certainly do not agree with leaving dogs in hot cars my dogs were not left and the car is cooler than my house is right now. I think things have been taken a little too far.
