Here is a story wedding creatives run into all the time. Just a little help from the guests will make our work easier. A great lesson I learned from Dallas Green from City and Colour. Put the technology away and live in the moment. This was his request during his performance to SLC last year. During ceremonies, especially, take in the great words the officiant is saying and pay attention to the vows. The moment and experience is well more treasured. The best part is that a professional videographer is capturing that moment perfectly so that the newlyweds and guests can relive that day and have that moment again... SO.... Future Bride and Future groom... before the ceremony, a suggestion would be to have the officiant ask guests to turn off their devices and not take pictures or video. Even have him suggest not to have them do so during the important events of the day. Of course you can be creative with the idea too.
