Here is my letter to Mark Dayton: Consider sending one too - TopicsExpress

Here is my letter to Mark Dayton: Consider sending one too please. Governor Dayton: I’ll outline the usual statement of former support for you and the DFL: I have been a supporter and contributor to the DFL in the past and to the DNC as well as Moveon.org. I expect leadership in return for my support. I voted for you but future support for you as an individual office holder is now very much a concern of mine. Leadership in my view means taking the correct position that is in the interest of the people of Minnesota. You have failed 2 times in this. The following is from the Star Trib web page: Families with children suffering from epilepsy said that when they met with Dayton last week, he suggested they could buy marijuana on the street. They said their lives are stressful enough without resorting to criminal behavior to care for their children. The governor said he is not advocating criminal activity. “I cannot, and I do not, advocate breaking the law,” Dayton said. “But as a father I understand parents who would do anything possible to help their children.” If all that is said there is accurate than it is not excusable. You do not represent the Police but rather the People that live in Minnesota. PERIOD! Second you have lacked leadership in moving the light rail development along in the SW corridor. You are the Governor. Take a stand and let’s build much needed light rail in the SW and the remainder of the area. People sit in cars day in and day out for hundreds of thousands of hours wasting time, gas, money, while they pump millions of tons of carbon in to the air from their cars that are stuck in GRIDLOCK. Stop the blame game and move forward on this issue. Build light rail. Move forward on helping sick children get access to treatment through medical marijuana. Stop working of some Police Federation. Work for us the citizens of Minnesota. John Morey 12165 70th Av N Maple Grove, MN 55369
