We are longtime home brewers ourselves and having the opportunity to grow and build our brewery, along with amazing partners like Farrell Distributing, has been a dream come true. We’d like to share that dream” says Steve Gagner of 14th Star. Jennifer Swiatek , Owner Beverage Warehouse Winooski , Original Creator Of This Concept reached out to 14th Star not only because of the outstanding beers they make but also the military connection Steve has. We have a great respect for our armed forces at the Bevie. “Our intense enthusiasm is what spurred this idea. It is a daily conversation here at the Beverage Warehouse… the love of Beer . Folks will wait in line for hours to get a taste of Vermont, and they do it with smiles. We talk to a lot of home brewers and beer lovers who say “ I wish I could do this for a living, maybe one day” Well, I decided I wanted the Beverage Warehouse to give them that “One Day” that shot, to see if they could make the cut. Think about it… what would it be worth to you? To remove the legal hurdles, to brew in a state of the art brewery like 14th Star …. To have in place the relationships with the most revered beer bars in Vermont pouring your beer from their taps. And to finally have it distributed by an amazing outfit like Farrell Distributing and sold in stores like the Bevie who are so committed to growing Vermont brands, you just can’t put a monetary figure for this kind of an opportunity. We are going to allow you to test your dream of making this a professional reality. WE ARE your skin in the game. ”- Jennifer Swiatek- Owner Beverage Warehouse “We are very proud to represent Steve as his distributor partner across the state. This is a great opportunity for us to help support him, our friends at the Beverage Warehouse and some of the top Craft Beer bars in the state. Commitment to Community means a lot to us here at Farrell Distributing, wetry to practice it every day in all corners of the state. This is a great way for us to help support the amazing beer culture we have.”; Ryan Chaffin , Director of Marketing, Farrell Distributing “What sets this apart from some of the larger, similar competitions is that we are not taking the recipe” explains Gagner. “The beer will be produced and sold under our license for legal reasons, but it will be very clear that this is the competition champion’s beer. This allows the home brewer to see how his or her recipe stacks up to the other craft offerings in the marketplace and could potentially help them decide if the leap to professional brewing is for them.” -Steve Gagner of 14th Star.
