Here is the update on Lexi from her new family. Congratulations to Lexi and her new family and also many thanks to her foster family who helped her learn the ropes of being a pet. I thought I would drop you a note about Lexi. She settled in fine and is eating well. Lexi likes Walters food (Purina Pro Plan) and they take turns eating and drinking from the same dishes. She really likes to know where we are and follows us around quite a bit with a wagging tail. She takes Walters lead and hangs out/sleeps in the living room dog beds during the day as we all go about our business. She loves going outside with everyone, playing in the yard, and laying in the shady grass. Lexi knows she can get up on the couch in the basement and has no problem going downstairs and making herself comfortable if we are down there. She has a wonderful personality and the kids really love her. As you know, April and the kids are home almost all the time and she loves all of that constant attention. Lexi has been sleeping on Austins big queen sized bed with him at night and is getting used to sleeping in and doing what she wants - on her schedule. These wonderful dogs come from such tough circumstances sometimes and really deserve to be spoiled. I have attached a few IPhone pics and will send you a few more when I can.
